Location
We have two flying sites available, Forest Road playing fields Fairlop. Our site at Forest Road is owned by the local council and is open to members of the public, sometimes they use part of the field to play football matches. If you fly here you must adhere to the rules and fly with the up most care and above all fly safely, we cannot stress enough the dangers of flying in an area that is open to the public, if you feel its dangerous then land or do not fly!
Our preference is to use our private site at Fairlop, it is situated on open farmland and offers a safer and more peaceful flying experience. There are still strict rules that must be followed, these include not flying over farm buildings, not driving vehicles onto the fields at certain times of the year and above all flying safely. As you will be flying on a working farm there will be animals grazing and some working vehicles going around the farm, again if you think there is any element of danger then land or do not fly.
You must make sure you read our Rules section thoroughly as this includes important information regarding both sites and the allocation of frequencies.
