North Cyprus F3J Open 2005
A few members of the club just arrived back from a splendid trip to North Cyprus. It was the first international attended F3J event to have been held there, over 100 entries from all over the world. Fantastic weather ensured we had some great flying. Conditions were testing with the first day being very windy, it must have gusted 20+ mph some of the time. This took its toll on a lot of pilots, if you got it wrong this day there was no way back.
3 pilots from the UK made the top 15 for the Fly off, a fantastic achievement for us especially against the caliber of pilots that attended. Congratulations to the winner Reinhard Vallant from Germany. He flew exceptionally well to make first position.
